We had our Camp SoulGrow 2nd annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive for South Plaquemines Parish and definitively one of our favorite days of the year! We delivered over 100 Thanksgiving Turkeys to those in need throughout South Plaquemines Parish, from Port Sulphur to Venice!!! We had such a fun and humbling day giving back to our community for Thanksgiving, as we know to give us to grow!! We started at Fremin’s Market then made stops at the Plaquemines Medical Center, Plaquemines Parish Sheriffs Office, Great Mount Sinai Baptist Church, St Patrick Church, Trinity, St Ann Church, and the Venice/Boothville Venice Fire Department! We had members of the community meet us throughout the day for pickups during our stops and we greeted everyone with gratitude and joy, with free Thanksgiving turkeys and Thanksgiving cards. After all of our deliveries, we had our own little SoulGrow Thanksgiving lunch at the Venice Marina! It was another amazing day of giving and we are so completely grateful!!!! Thank you to everyone who supports Camp SoulGrow and made today possible for so many, especially Fremins Market and Peake BMW!!!! We are SOUL grateful to continue to give and grow!!!
